Lundbeck’s Pentobarbital, along with Hospira and Akorn, kills its 39th patient in Florida on February 15th, 2012. It is the 4th execution of 2012, sponsored by the notorious Lundbeck/Akorn/Hospira trio.
Robert Waterhouse spent 31 years on death row. His execution was delayed for two hours while the US Supreme Court considered a last minute appeal.
He made a last statement:
“You are about to witness the execution of a wrongly convicted and innocent man. The state broke its own law in destroying DNA evidence in my case so I could not prove my innocence. To my wife and family, I want to say I love you all and that’s it.”
He was pronounced dead at 8:22pm. He was 65 years old.
The United-States continues to deny thorough and impartial review of capital cases and kills people in the name justice. As it stands in the top 5 killing countries in the world, along with China, Iran, Iraq and Pakistan; it belongs to the worst murdering club on this planet.
