Lundbeck‘s Pentobarbital kills its 47th patient in Texas on March 28th, 2012.

Texas killed Jesse Hernandez who was sentenced to death for the killing of a 10-months old boy, Karlos Borja.

In his last statement, he thanked those who supported him. As the drugs began to flow, he said: “… Thank you. I can feel it, taste it. It’s not bad.” He was pronounced dead at 6:18pm, he was 47 years old.

Lundbeck & Co are now responsible for 47 out of the 56 executions carried out so far in the United States since December 2010, when Lundbeck stepped in the business of death.
