June 23, 2011 - Lundbeck Executes 17

Lundbeck‘s Pentobarbital kills its 17th patient in Georgia on June 23, 2011.

Roy Willard Blankenship was put to death by injection at the state prison in Jackson after state and federal courts turned down his appeals. The 56-year-old was pronounced dead at 8:37 p.m. He grimaced throughout the procedure. While Dr. Carlo Musso participated in the execution, a complaint against him has been filed for illegally importing sodium thiopental from overseas and for later selling doses to officials in Tennessee and Kentucky.

Lundbeck has now killed as many people as Jeffrey Dahmer did in the USA. The only difference is that the serial killer laboratory did it within a 6-month period while it took Jeffrey Dahmer from 1987 until 1998…

It is now responsible for 17 of the 24 executions carried out so far in the United States in 2011.

One more patient awaiting Lundbeck’s treatment in June:

Richard Bible, Arizona, June 30, 2011

And four more patients in July:

Humberto Leal, Texas, July 7, 2011
Kenneth Smith, Ohio, July 19, 2011

Thomas West, Arizona, July 19, 2011
Mark Stroman, Texas, July 20, 2011

About The Pentobarbital Experiment

"Lundbeck is a global pharmaceutical company engaged in the research and development, production, marketing and sale of drugs for treatment of psychiatric and neurological disorders." As the sole supplier of Pentobarbital to US departments of corrections, Danish company Lundbeck took an active and dedicated part in the executions of human beings. This is a clear violation of its ethical obligations as a European pharmaceutical laboratory. Its manufacturing plant for Pentobarbital is based in Kansas, USA. Here is the full story: the facts and the numbers brought to you by European activists dedicated to the universal abolition of the death penalty. Disclaimer: This blog was created to raise awareness and to encourage legitimate citizen actions to bring an end to the torturous executions in the USA. It does not, and never did advocate violence or retaliation against whoever participates in the legal lynchings of human beings. View all posts by The Pentobarbital Experiment

Thank you !!! for your work and for telling everyone whats up here so that no one can say “I did not know” – It doesn’t surprise that Denmark has not the nuts to speak up, its really no visisons and clear politics here and it seems to get worse…
