August 18, 2011 - Lundbeck Executes 25

Lundbeck‘s Pentobarbital kills its 25th patient in Virginia on August 18, 2011.

The death machine, fueled by Lundbeck’s pentobarbital, continues to kill in the US.

Jerry Terrell Jackson, aged 30, was pronounced dead at 9:17pm. He made no last statement. He spent his last two days with his family at the Greensville Correctional Center in Jarratt.

For the first time the state of Virginia used pentobarbital to kill in the name of justice, thanks to the Danish death lab. The department of corrections purchased 5 doses before the long overdue distribution restrictions were put in place in the US.

Lundbeck is now responsible for 25 of the 33 executions carried out so far in the United States since December 2010.

Ten more patients await Lundbeck’s treatment in September 2011:

Manuel Valle, Florida, September 1, 2011
Joel Schmeiderer, Tennessee, September 13, 2011
Steven Woods, Texas, September 13, 2011
Duan Buck, Texas, September 15, 2011
Billy Slagle, Ohio, September 20, 2011
Cleve Foster, Texas, September 20, 2011
Lawrence Brewer, Texas, September 21, 2011
Derrick Mason, Alabama, September 22, 2011
David Jordan, Tennessee, September 27, 2011
Robert Flor, Pennsylvania, September 29, 2011

About The Pentobarbital Experiment

"Lundbeck is a global pharmaceutical company engaged in the research and development, production, marketing and sale of drugs for treatment of psychiatric and neurological disorders." As the sole supplier of Pentobarbital to US departments of corrections, Danish company Lundbeck took an active and dedicated part in the executions of human beings. This is a clear violation of its ethical obligations as a European pharmaceutical laboratory. Its manufacturing plant for Pentobarbital is based in Kansas, USA. Here is the full story: the facts and the numbers brought to you by European activists dedicated to the universal abolition of the death penalty. Disclaimer: This blog was created to raise awareness and to encourage legitimate citizen actions to bring an end to the torturous executions in the USA. It does not, and never did advocate violence or retaliation against whoever participates in the legal lynchings of human beings. View all posts by The Pentobarbital Experiment
