Lundbeck’s Pentobarbital kills its 33rd patient in Ohio on November 15, 2011; its 34th patient in Florida on November 15, 2011 and its 35th patient in Texas on November 16, 2011.

Lundbeck finally did it! After a failed triple kill attempt last September, Lundbeck could even beat its own latest deadly record this week, with a 4th patient awaiting lethal injection in Idaho. The Idaho Department of Correction has revised its execution protocol to allow the switch from sodium thiopental to pentobarbital, thanks to the Danish death lab, again! Karl Brandt‘s fan club has a new member!

On November 15, 2011, Reginald Brooks was poisoned to death in Ohio after several hours waiting for a federal court decision. He was 66 years old, he was pronounced dead at 2:04pm. The same day, Florida put to death Oba Chandler. He was 65 years old, his last words: “you are killing an innocent man”. He was pronounced dead at 4:25pm.

On November 16, 2011, Guadalupe Esparza, 46, was also poisoned to death in Texas. He apologized to the victim’s family before the killing machine began the torture process. He was pronounced dead at 6:21pm.

These killings were made possible thanks to Lundbeck’s pentobarbital and the laboratory’s irresponsible attitude. Evidently Lundbeck is dedicated to assist in state-sponsored murders in the US, an infamous line to add in bold on its summary of achievements in the world of health care.

Lundbeck is now responsible for 35 of the 44 executions carried out so far in the United States since December 2010.

One more patient awaits Lundbeck’s treatment in November 2011:

Paul Rhoades, Idaho, November 18, 2011

About The Pentobarbital Experiment

"Lundbeck is a global pharmaceutical company engaged in the research and development, production, marketing and sale of drugs for treatment of psychiatric and neurological disorders." As the sole supplier of Pentobarbital to US departments of corrections, Danish company Lundbeck took an active and dedicated part in the executions of human beings. This is a clear violation of its ethical obligations as a European pharmaceutical laboratory. Its manufacturing plant for Pentobarbital is based in Kansas, USA. Here is the full story: the facts and the numbers brought to you by European activists dedicated to the universal abolition of the death penalty. Disclaimer: This blog was created to raise awareness and to encourage legitimate citizen actions to bring an end to the torturous executions in the USA. It does not, and never did advocate violence or retaliation against whoever participates in the legal lynchings of human beings. View all posts by The Pentobarbital Experiment
