Lundbeck‘s Pentobarbital kills its 42nd patient in Texas on March 7th, 2012 and its 43rd patient in Arizona on March 8th, 2012

Another prolific week for the death lab trio Lundbeck, Hospira and Akorn in the United-States.

Despite the fact that he was represented by “grossly deficient” lawyers, the US Supreme Court denied the last appeal filed for Keith Thurmond, he was put to death by the state of Texas on March 7, 2012. As the drugs began flowing, he said, “You can taste it.” He wheezed and snored before losing consciousness. He was pronounced dead at 6:22pm, he was 52 years old.

Evidently trying to imitate Texas, the state of Arizona killed again, for the second time in 9 days. Robert Towery was put to death on March 8, 2012, after nearly 20 years on death row. He apologized to his family and to the victims. He was pronounced dead at 11:26am, he was 47 years old. He kept a diary during the last weeks of his life.

Lundbeck & Co are now responsible for 43 out of the 52 executions carried out so far in the United States since December 2010.

7 new patients await the infamous trio’s treatment in March 2012:

Timothy Stemple – Oklahoma – March 15, 2012
Garry Allen – Oklahoma – March 16, 2012
Briley Piper – South Dakota – March 18, 2012
Larry Puckett – Mississippi – March 20, 2012
William Mitchell – Mississippi – March 22, 2012
Jesse Hernandez – Texas – March 28, 2012
Tommy Arthur – Alabama – March 29, 2012

About The Pentobarbital Experiment

"Lundbeck is a global pharmaceutical company engaged in the research and development, production, marketing and sale of drugs for treatment of psychiatric and neurological disorders." As the sole supplier of Pentobarbital to US departments of corrections, Danish company Lundbeck took an active and dedicated part in the executions of human beings. This is a clear violation of its ethical obligations as a European pharmaceutical laboratory. Its manufacturing plant for Pentobarbital is based in Kansas, USA. Here is the full story: the facts and the numbers brought to you by European activists dedicated to the universal abolition of the death penalty. Disclaimer: This blog was created to raise awareness and to encourage legitimate citizen actions to bring an end to the torturous executions in the USA. It does not, and never did advocate violence or retaliation against whoever participates in the legal lynchings of human beings. View all posts by The Pentobarbital Experiment
